Spanish Primera Liga football club, Getafe C.F. agreed a landmark collaboration with ALLCOT Group last summer. Under the terms of this 5 year commitment, Getafe C.F. became “one of the leading environmental and socially sustainable first tier clubs in Europe”.

Through the agreement, Getafe C.F. demonstrates its environmental commitment and support of climate-friendly operations by neutralizing the greenhouse gases (GHG) it produces. It will support a forestry project, RMDLT, with wide-ranging social benefits to the local communities; an innovative sustainable merchandising initiative using sustainable timber sourced from the forestry project will provide much needed economic benefits.

The Climate Markets and Investment Association (CMIA) is the voice of the climate, sustainable finance and services community.

Governments and policy makers across the world recognise CMIA as a leader among progressive trade associations with regards to incentivising low-carbon and resource efficient investment through market mechanism, pre-compliance markets, or climate and sustainable finance mechanisms.
