Alexis Leroy, CEO and founder of ALLCOT, joins the Board of the Climate Markets and Investment Association

Alexis L. Leroy, CEO and founder of the ALLCOT Group, has been elected to the Board of the Climate Markets and Investment Association (CMIA) for the term 2015-2017.

The CMIA is a leading trade association that aims to incentivize low-carbon and resource efficient investment through market mechanism, pre-compliance markets, or climate and sustainable finance mechanisms.

The ALLCOT Group of companies specialises in end-to-end sustainability solutions for individuals and businesses of all sizes. ALLCOT develops, manages and trades in all sectors related with climate change mitigation, from offices in Switzerland, Spain and Colombia.

ALLCOT’s innovative approach enables it to develop long-term partnerships with clients from a range of sectors including fashion, food, and tourism. A groundbreaking 5-year sustainability programme created for its client, Spanish Primera Liga football club GETAFE CF, was recognised with a prestigious Laurel Platinum award in 2014.

Having been involved with GHG reductions and renewables since 2007, and with extensive trading experience in carbon and other commodities, Mr. Leroy has led ALLCOT in identifying and commercialising multi-stakeholder opportunities.

He is currently a committee member of the World Energy Forum’s ‘Next Generation Energy Leaders’ group and is the France Chair for G8 Young Global Leaders.

Mr. Leroy said “I am delighted to have been invited to join the Board of the CMIA and look forward to working with my colleagues to innovate and communicate market-based solutions to address climate change and resource scarcity’’.
