Getafe C. F. uses 100% biodegradable benches for the first time during the match against Málaga

Getafe CF used the first benches of the League which were100% biodegradable, produced with recyclable cardboard, during the match against Malaga, which took place last weekend. They are used by Security, Local Police and Civil Protection staff. Thus, Getafe CF takes another action to continue its sustainability program.

The benches have been produced by RolDigital, Tatualia and Allcot Group. RolDigital is also a company committed to the environment, because as Getafe, it reduced and offset its carbon footprint through Allcot Group. Tatualia is a company aware of  sports and ecological values too.

Spanish La Liga football club Getafe CF signed a landmark 5 year agreement with ALLCOT in June 2014 committing to make the Club ‘’one of the leading environmental and socially sustainable first tier clubs in Europe’’.

Through this agreement, Getafe CF demonstrates its environmental credentials by measuring and targeting a 20% reduction in its energy, emissions, water and waste by 2019. The Club is neutralising its greenhouse gas emissions with an internationally verified forestry project in the Amazon.
