The aim of the CPA Haidar El Ali Coockstove Initiative (HEACI) in Senegal is to improve energy efficiency by substituting inefficient traditional cooking stoves with more effective ones improving the conditions of the local population living in Senegal and reducing the greenhouse gas emissions.
A stakeholder engagement process will be undertaken for each of the CPAs under the proposed PoA, ensuring that potential stove recipients understands the installation agreement, are trained in the usage of the stove, and are able to give adequate feedback on their usage.
The CPA contributes to the sustainable development in a number of ways: environmentally and socially.
